Introduction

This is an example of a yearly children’s department program at the Corona Public Library. The library is located in a predominantly White and Hispanic area. It serves a population of about 44,950 households. The hours of operation are:
Monday-Wednesday
10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Thursday and Friday
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday
12 to 5 p.m.

I will be explaining how the programs enhance developmental activities at various stages/ages. Throughout this course, we have learned about programming and services for children and what needs to be included in order to have a successful program.  Examples of programs include story times, summer reading program, Día de los Niño’s, STEM programs, etc. The blog will be organized into sections depending on the type of program and will also include a line-by-line budget listing expected funds to be used.
