Every Wednesday and Friday in June, children
and parents will enjoy a summer reading themed storytime. Summer reading
programs offer the opportunity for children to actively learn during the summer
while away from school. It also offers ideas for parents to encourage good
reading practices and a way to entertain their children in an educational
manner. Children and parents will hear books read to them, participate in
various crafts and activities, win prizes and raffles, etc. The theme for this
particular program is “Folktales, Fairytales and Myths.”
